[TRANSCEND] Releases SLC mode SSDs - High performance & economical cost

SLC NAND are frequently preferred for industrial projects that require highly durable products. However, SLC NAND’s cost is significantly higher than that of TLC NAND, driving up the overall project cost. Transcend understood this requirement and introduced SSD codes with SLC mode (which simulates the structure of SLC NAND) with the goal of providing customers a more affordable choice while maintaining efficiency.

Benefits:

  • Long life cycle: The number of P/E turns increased by nearly 30 times, suitable for embedded product applications, industrial applications.

  • Higher data transfer rate: Stable, high speed.

  • Cost savings: Compared with SLC NAND Flash SSDs, SSDs with SLC Mode are more cost-effective, suitable for large-scale, large-scale projects.

Features:

  • Dynamic thermal throttling

  • Built-in LDPC ECC (Error Correction Code) functionality

  • Supports S.M.A.R.T. function to conduct health monitoring, analysis, and reporting for storage devices

  • Power-saving DevSleep (Device Sleep) mode

  • High-quality 3D NAND flash and SLC mode for exceptional endurance and reliability

  • Endurance: 100K P/E cycles (Program/Erase cycles) guaranteed

  • Power Shield (PS) to ensure data transfer integrity and minimize data corruption in the drive during an abnormal power outage.

  • Promised operational reliability in an extended temperature range from -20°C to 75°C.

Application:

Ideal for embedded applications, such as embedded automation computers, engineering machines, and fanless PCs.
